WANTED: experienced IT Apprenticeship Assessor with a successful track record in assessing Apprentices on the following Standards (essential ones in bold) : Level 3: Infrastructure Technician Software Developer Technician Digital Marketeer Technical Sales Level 4: Network Engineer Software Developer Data Analyst What you’ll be doing: As an IT Apprenticeship Assessor, you would work flexibly from home , assessing cohorts of learners through Microsoft Teams and once able again, visiting apprentices in their various workplaces to train and assess them on a 1-2-1 basis, across the East and West Midlands. You will have plenty of freedom and the autonomy to plan your own diary. As you will be managed remotely, we are looking for professionals who can deliver training and assessment to apprentices and commercial clients, without being micro-managed. As our IT Apprenticeship Assessor you must have: Minimum IT Qualifications (CompTIA, CISCO, MCT, Azure, Cyber) and experience of delivering and assessing Infrastructure Technician and/or Network Engineer standards to apprentices. A formal teaching qualification such as PGCE , PGDE , Cert Ed , DTLLS or PTTLS . A formal Assessing qualification , ideally CAVA . Experience of developing courses and course materials and be prepared to demonstrate this at interview. A driving licence and your own car to get around your apprentices in the region. You need to be reliable, self-disciplined and calm under pressure. You should be self-motivated, organised, extremely adaptable and have an eye for detail.
