As an Apprentice Site Manager, you will be working as part of the commercial and construction team at our Colchester project, you will gain valuable experience and build your career as an Apprentice Site Manager for both John Sisk & Son and its clients. A Site Manager is a technically demanding career and equally rewarding. Studying and working on-site and delivering large-scale construction projects is an excellent foundation for a successful career. You will have hands-on experience in supporting, problem-solving and delivering key packages of work which will help bring your degree studies to life. Responsibilities will include: Typically, as an apprentice, you will work 5 days per week with 4 days in the workplace and 1 day allocated to study time. Liaise with the customer, their representatives, and other stakeholders on Operational Issues. Initiates valuable business relationships and works to ensure they are developed effectively. Proposes actions in response to changes in client and stakeholder needs and expectations. Manage Key-stake holders through the project life cycle Set-up a Safe & Secure work site in accordance with Sisk Process & Procedures. Active involvement in HSEQS management on our projects and challenge working practices on site and across our business to ensure continuous improvement in line with our Zero philosophy.
