As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Operations Intern in our Seating business located in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland. The successful candidate can expect to: Develop the skills necessary to provide leadership and direction to a production team. Develop the skills necessary to ensure performance delivery against key targets/metrics and quality standards (deliver the Master Production Schedule and related KPI's). Develop the skills necessary to drive a culture of continuous improvement, cost reduction and manage change within a fast paced production environment to maximise efficiency and effectiveness within a team. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to aid effective communication and deliver results. Develop the skills necessary to effectively manage a team to increase line performance and develop individuals. Ensure that all Health and Safety standards and requirements are met. Help support the Operations function of the business. The Person Collaborates Building partnerships and working together with others for the greater good. Communicates Effectively Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. Essential Criteria: Studying towards a degree in Supply Chain, Warehousing & Transport or a Business related discipline. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Desirable Criteria: Previous relevant work experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain / Logistics environment. 6 months previous experience working in an administrator role.
