Job Opportunity: Design Civil Engineer Location: Central London Start Date: July 2024 About Our Client: Our client, a dynamic and socially responsible engineering firm based in Central London, is seeking a Design Civil Engineer with 2 years of experience to join their innovative team. Role Overview: This full-time position requires a self-motivated and creative engineer with strong technical design skills and a passion for civil engineering. You will work on diverse projects, from small residential refurbishments to large-scale developments, contributing to the design and construction processes. Key Responsibilities: Design below-ground drainage systems, including SuDS, and private roads to adoptable standards. Retrofitting existing drainage networks and creating comprehensive sitewide designs. Develop Drainage Statements, FRAs, and external levels/hardstanding build-up designs. Use software tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroDrainage. Collaborate with local authorities for drainage and highways agreements. Ensure timely project delivery through effective team collaboration and communication. Qualifications: ICE-accredited degree in Civil Engineering. Progressing towards ICE chartership. Proficiency in design software and strong analytical skills. Exceptional communication abilities and a highly organized approach to work.
