We are a successful Independent Recruitment Consultancy looking for a talented individual to join our busy team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Employment Specialists Ltd. have been working with a wide range of long-standing Clients for many years, including a number of Household names, so we have some very good long-standing relationships within the Insurance industry. What will I be doing? As Employment Specialists Ltd. are a specialist, technical Recruiter you'll be carefully trained, not only in the technical knowledge you'll need to be able to talk to a wide range of candidates, but also the important and very personalised way that we work with them and support them through their recruitment journey. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will work closely with candidates of all levels, from graduates to experienced and professionally qualified people. You will have the personal skills to be able to talk to them in detail about their background and career objectives to help them to identify and obtain their ideal next job move. Trainee Recruitment Consultant's Daily tasks will include: Calling new and existing candidates and accurately recording information onto the database (telephone and face to face communication) Ensuring you understand both your candidates and Employer's requirements to ensure that both parties are closely matched Co-ordinating interviews and confirming to candidates Resourcing tasks including CV searching via job boards, in-house systems and LinkedIn Writing and publishing appropriate adverts for a number of different vacanciesWhat skills do I need? Working as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant is rewarding, and no two days are the same. Priorities can change very quickly which means you need to be able to cope with change, enjoy working to demanding deadlines and work well under pressure. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with some professional office and insurance experience, but this is NOT essential. Other important skills include: Communication & Relationship Building - you will be liaising with wide ranging candidates as well as internal staff such as experienced Consultants, Management, and our Administrators You will also need a strong level of written English skills in order to construct professional emails and reformat CV's Organisation - You will need to keep on top of your to do list and regularly plan your day, communicating regular updates to your mentor and other team members where necessary Multi-tasking - You will handle multiple responsibilities at the same time and prioritise themShould I apply?
