If you have solid and demonstrable experience of embedded C programming then this role may suit you well. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated embedded software engineer to join our client's team in Rochdale, Greater Manchester You will be developing software for a range of sensor-based products. The intention, in time, is to enhance features and functionality and to create a range of intelligent sensors based on AI / machine learning technologies. Required: Graduate / Junior Embedded Software Engineer A relevant degree (computer science / electronics engineering or similar) with specific embedded software content. Your CV must show evidence of projects involving embedded C software development ideally for sensor, IoT or similar technologies. Relevant internships, industry placements or employment with specific embedded software development content will be preferred Candidates that show evidence of relevant software programming projects completed in their own time will have an advantage Experience of Artificial Intelligent, Machine Learning, Java (UI development) or cloud based / IoT technologies would also be useful. The role will involve full lifecycle software development as part of a multiskilled team. Furthermore, you will be involved with software integration to hardware to support full product development. Hence, any experience of electrical and electronic systems would be very useful. Typical duties: Graduate / Junior Embedded Software Engineer Develop and maintain software applications using embedded C to enhance and create new sensor products and features Troubleshoot and debug software Develop innovative solutions to meet product and systems requirements (AI / machine learning) Research, develop and implement new technologies Develop user interfaces using Java (or similar) Skills and experience required: A relevant degree (computer science / electronics engineering or similar) with specific embedded software content.
