Graduate Teaching Assistant | Secondary Role | Immediate start | We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join the team of a fantastic North London Secondary School, and support the learning and development of students in the school. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with teachers to provide classroom support and individual assistance to students, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all. Graduate Teaching Assistant | Role: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons as a Graduate Teaching Assistant Support students with educational activities and provide one-on-one assistance when necessary Help create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students Contribute to the planning and preparation of educational materials Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress Provide support during extracurricular activities and school events Uphold the school's policies and promote a diverse and inclusive learning environment Interview process is a two-stage process. A Graduate Teaching Assistant will have in person trial lasting a morning, followed by an interview later in the day. Graduate Teaching Assistant position pays £96-£105 a day | Paid weekly via PAYE Graduate Teaching Assistant | About you: A First-Class Bachelor's degree in education, or a core subject, is mandatory Previous experience working with secondary school students is advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student learning An understanding of diversity, equality, and inclusion in an educational setting Willingness to engage in continuous professional development As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students on a daily basis. Your tasks may include assisting in classroom activities, providing support to students with specific learning needs, and collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the holistic development of the students.
