Our Apprenticeship Programmes   There are so many great reasons to join the sector, and our apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to enter the industry.

You will achieve a professional qualification while gaining work experience and earning a wage.

  We currently we have opportunities in the following areas:

Civil engineering

As a civil engineering technician you will contribute to the design, construction and maintenance of everything around us; from stadiums and motorways to rail and waterways. At Mott MacDonald we work in a variety of sectors and so there are opportunities to work on a number of varied and exciting projects across the globe.

 

Transport planning

Becoming a transport planning technician at Mott MacDonald will mean that you are impacting the travel of thousands of people across the UK. Working alongside our experts, you will help to ensure that the future designs of transport and traffic plans, schemes and systems will benefit the public and sustain the environment.

Building services engineering

  Building service engineers work to strike a balance between a comfortable indoor environment and safety, access, power and energy efficiency. The work you will do at Mott MacDonald alongside college will help you develop skills across a range of applications and while working towards engineering technician status, you'll support our experts in designing eye-catching buildings around the world.

Quantity surveying

  Quantity surveyors play a key role in building projects, from managing costs from design through to completion and reporting on these, contributing to bids for tenders and ensuring quality standards are met. As an apprentice at Mott MacDonald you will work alongside our quantity surveyors to contribute to a number of our current and upcoming projects.

  You can apply to our Advanced Apprenticeship if you have already achieved or are expected to achieve five GSCE passes with grades 4 to 9 or A* - C, or equivalent qualification, including English. To apply you must have achieved or be expected to a Maths GSCE with Grade B or 6 and above.

  You can apply to our Degree Apprenticeships if you have already achieved or are expected to achieve 3 A level passes with grades A* - C, or equivalent qualification. You will have ideally studied Mathematics at A level. You must have a Maths GSCE with Grade B and above, or equivalent mathematics qualification.
