Yes, you’ll learn from us, but we expect to learn from you too General Summary: This fixed term contract reports to the Director of Marketing or their designed and is located in Banbury, UK. Main responsibilities include operational and administrative support, particularly focused on the end-to-end distribution of all Team and Driver kit, overseeing the expansion and development of merchandise, supporting the hospitality preparation for each race and delivery of key internal events. The role will require you to become a go-to member of the Marketing team for other departments and assist with all day-to-day marketing operations as required. Key Responsibilities: Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments. Support with the intake, stock management and distribution of clothing across the Team, for trackside, travelling, and factory-based employees in the UK, Italy, and US in line with all travel dates. Maintain and oversee the kit storage area at the factory, ensuring all kit is unpacked on arrival, stored in a secure and organized manner, and re-ordered when stock is running low. Track all size change requests from the Team, ensuring the database is always up to date with correct personnel and sizing. Manage the packing and sending out of Driver kit for all Drivers prior to race events, and action all personal driver requests to race kit items/team wear as instructed. Support with the annual development of merchandise products for Hospitality and Retail channels. Manage factory stock and action any ad-hoc requests for merchandise from internal departments. Help prepare the guest program ahead of each race weekend. Supporting with guests planning, gifting, hospitality presentation and ensuring that all required items are appropriately shipped to each event. Responsible for the organization and fulfillment of fan mail requests Support the HR department in the planning and delivery of the Team’s annual Family Day and other internal events as required. Raise department purchase orders and assist with other administrative tasks. Assist with ad-hoc marketing requests as required. Attend all weekly marketing meetings. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing or their designee Follow all safety regulations in all venues Education and Work Experience: Currently at University studying for a degree or about to graduate. Strong attention to detail with an ability to plan and coordinate. Strong organization, social and interpersonal skills. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Capable of working in a team environment to a very high standard and demonstrate a positive work attitude Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong communication skills, written and verbal Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems A can-do positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential Equipment and Applications: Solid computer knowledge, preferred experience in Microsoft Office products Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials and facility maintenance requirements Work Environment Physical Demands: An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional extensive domestic and international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends. This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids.
