Katie Feltham studying Managerial and Administrative Studies at Aston 2001 - 2002 Placement Student in HR. 'My first role was to write a process guide for the AXA Industrial Placement Programme which was a great introduction to the company and HR. My main projects however have been around employee compensation and benefits for example producing a report on the company car scheme, co-ordinating a quality and price survey of the in-house restaurant so recommendations could be made to improve service. The work has been varied and I am constantly liasing with a wide range of people, which has helped my communication skills. I have become more efficient in my time management, have learned to adapt quickly and not be afraid of change.'
