About Enviros
Part of the Carillion business, Enviros is one of the UK's top environmental consultancies, voted the leading brand in the sector in 2007 and awarded top employer status for two years running. Enviros is recognised for quality and innovation in the fast-moving areas of landfill diversion, carbon management and footprinting, renewable energy and sustainable development. We've recently added health and safety to this list, after expanding our portfolio with the addition of a substantial health and safety consultancy. This brings our total workforce close to 500 and enables us to address issues such as health and safety management, occupational health, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene and construction safety.
Our Internship
Our structured internship enables you to gain a broad knowledge of our business, working with our experienced professionals. Your on-the-job learning will be supplemented by formal training in core commercial and consulting skills - which you'll soon put to good use as part of our team. In fact, you could quickly find yourself involved in providing business-critical advice to a FTSE 100 corporate client, driving sustainability principles for major developments, or advising the government on major policy decisions.
You
You should have studied an environmental course or have environmentally related experience - Environmental Science, Geography, Geology or Environmental Engineering and Sciences are all acceptable. In addition, you should be analytical, professional, organised and an excellent teamworker. Above all, you should be interested in current and emerging environmental issues; keen to create solutions and equipped to be a first-class environmental consultant. It's also essential that you're flexible about travel and in possession of a valid driving license.
