GLL is the UK's largest leisure provider and one of the first and largest leisure social enterprises.
Our aim is to get more people, more active, more of the time whilst making leisure and community facilities accessible and affordable. We partner with local authorities to run leisure centres, swimming pools, libraries, children's centres, spas, events spaces and world-class sporting venues such as the Copper Box Arena and London Aquatics Centre on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - all under our Better brand.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we're different. Passionate about seeing our communities thrive, we invest back into our facilities, projects and people and are an Investors in People Silver Award employer.
Sport, leisure, exercise, fitness, libraries, events, catering, public services, children's services, training.
To make community services and spaces accessible and affordable and provide a healthy, active lifestyle to the diverse communities that we work within across the UK.
We invest in our people throughout their career and offer formal, accredited training as well as a continuous development plan in the majority of our roles. We like to grow and promote staff from within and we have many examples of people who have progressed through the company to hold senior positions.
Our graduate Trainee Management scheme is a two-rear programme that will give you all the skills, knowledge and qualifications to start your leisure management career with GLL.
We're committed to being the best employer that we can be and are proud to have been awarded the Investors in People Silver Award. Despite being a large organisation, we're a close-knit team, all with the same values: we believe in our social enterprise ethos and want to provide great service to the communities that we work within.
This Trainee Manager scheme is available in Belfast but we have facilities based all over the UK with a head office in London.
As well as all the support you'd expect from a big organisation, we offer:
-Salary increase in Year 2 of the scheme
-Ride to work scheme
-Discounted staff fitness membership
-Continuous training and career development (qualifications and professional studies including CIMSPA accreditation)
-Mentoring throughout the duration of the scheme
