Helping you find a career in the energy & utilities industry

We'd be totally lost without energy and utilities, roaming around in dark homes with no running water or heating. This industry is responsible for delivering water and power to our homes, so it's imperative to our daily lives and needs to be reliable.

The energy and utility industry consists of a collection of companies that all have different responsibilities relating to the sourcing and supply of water and electricity in the UK. This means that your work will likely somehow be related to: providing clean water, generating electricity, delivering electricity or sourcing/buying energy.

The industry is also rapidly developing as our growing population means there is a larger demand for energy. In response to this, and wider global environmental issues, there is more work within renewable energy than ever before. In this field of work you would be researching and implementing renewable energy sources such as wind turbines, solar panels and hydroelectric plants.

Energy demand isn't going to decrease, so it's a pretty reliable industry to enter in terms of job security. There are plenty of opportunities for those who are eager and willing to learn new skills.
