We’re working with a forward-thinking organisation in Bury St Edmunds who looking for a motivated IT Graduate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in IT Support and Infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience while learning from experienced professionals. From day one, you’ll be learning, contributing, and developing your technical and professional skills. This role is ideal for someone who wants to progress into areas such as Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or Cloud Technologies over time. What You’ll Be Doing Providing 1st line IT support to internal users Troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues Supporting users with systems such as Microsoft 365 and Windows environments Assisting with user account management (e.g. Active Directory) Setting up laptops, desktops, and mobile devices Logging and tracking support tickets, ensuring timely resolution Learning from senior team members and getting involved in projects Supporting system upgrades, maintenance, and improvements What they are looking for A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) A genuine passion for technology and a desire to build a career in IT Basic understanding of IT concepts (e.g. networking, operating systems, hardware) Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner A proactive attitude and strong work ethic Nice to Have (Not Essential) Exposure to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, or Active Directory Basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP) Any internships, placements, or personal IT projects What You’ll Get in Return Structured training and ongoing development Hands-on experience across IT Support and Infrastructure Mentorship from experienced IT professionals Clear progression opportunities within the business A supportive and collaborative working environment Start your IT career the right way!
