Graduate Trainee Sales Engineer

Job description Our client's patented design is used to produce the most advanced fluid and gas transfer connectors on the market today with applications across the energy, food processing,chemicals and space industries. Their product's unique innovation allows customers to operate more efficiently, to build more quickly and to save time and money on their engineering projects. They have an opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate to join their Sales Team (full training offered no experience required). Their aim is to find an Engineering Graduate (any Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree type) who would like to work in a people facing role, someone who would like to train for and build a career in Technical Sales. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and enjoy customer facing activities. You should live in the Aberdeen area or have studied in the area (we are not interested in anyone relocating for the role unless they have an existing connection to the area). Candidates with student Visas and Post study Visas cannot be considered either as the business is looking for long term employees who are authorised to work for a minimum of 5 years in the UK. A full Drivers Licence is another essential requirement. Key Responsibilities Managing strategic key accounts in the Aberdeen area. ·Identifying new clients who might benefit from company products & services ·Establishing the specific requirements of potential clients to ensure their needs match the Company's capabilities ·Changing the ethos of an organisation through educating them in the benefits of the Company's technology ·Providing expertise to clients both pre & post installation to ensure that the Company's technology is utilized in a safe and compliant manner. ·Aiding the development of the company brand awareness through marketing & advertising. ·Cultivating long-term relationships with clients based on an intrinsic understanding of their needs (your customers like this are both technical engineering line management and commercial decision makers such as buyers etc.). ·Work alongside colleagues to set and achieve challenging targets. Qualifications and Education Requirements ·Degree Qualified Engineer (preferred) ·No Sales Experience required/Training Provided Extensive training will be provided to cover all aspects of the role including in depth product training at their manufacturing site in the USA and extensive coaching and mentoring to follow your induction which is delivered both in a classroom setting and on the job with support from a well known and highly regarded technical sales trainer. Their aim will be to get you up and running and into a customer facing role as soon as possible so that you can learn and develop in a real life business setting. You will be joining a dynamic, ambitious team of graduate sales engineers who are both a supportive and team oriented group- all of whom have passed through this training program themselves- we expect you to be a team player too.
