        Sheffield is home to a Tram service, called the Supertram, running throughout the city, university campuses, and to the rail station.

        From Sheffield Rail Station, regular services operate to London St Pancras, with a journey time of around 2 hours, as well as regular services to Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester. From the station run the services; Cross Country Trains, East Midlands Trains, First TransPennine Express, Megabus, Northern Rail, providing great National links.

        Within the city is a detailed network of Bus routes, with the major services being run by First and Stagecoach.

        The nearest airport to the city is Doncaster Sheffield Airport, a 45 minute coach ride from Sheffield.

        The closest major airport is Manchester which is a direct 1hr 15 minute train ride or 1hr 30 mins by car, which provides a large amount of international links.
