This role offers the chance to work closely with KS2 pupils, providing invaluable support throughout the national curriculum, with a particular emphasis on literacy and numeracy. KS2 Teaching Assistant Hodge Hill, Birmingham September 2024 – July 2025 £80 - £90 per day Key Responsibilities: Support KS2 pupils in their academic and personal development, focusing on literacy and numeracy skills. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to meet the needs of individual students. Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils who require additional assistance to reach their full potential. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to succeed. Requirements: A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young learners. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both students and staff. A degree qualification, ideal for graduates seeking hands-on experience prior to embarking on teacher training. Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
